Winsor Road is a residential street of about 2,000 feet in East Billerica, the longest of the three streets of the Allenhurst development. It leaves the east side of Allen Road south of Wentworth Drive and runs northeast to a dead end near the Route 3 land of the Commonwealth, with Wentworth Drive joining it from the north part way along. It was laid out fifty feet wide on the "Subdivision Plan of Land in Billerica" drawn by Dana F. Perkins & Sons, Inc., surveyors, on October 21, 1970, which the Land Court approved on April 21, 1971 and which was registered on September 29, 1972 as Land Court Plan 36385-C. On its four sheets Winsor Road has lots of about an acre on both sides, with land of the Town of Billerica to the north and the Commonwealth's land to the east. A Land Court plan drawn by Dana F. Perkins and Assoc., Inc. on June 11, 1980 (Plan 36385-D, registered November 21, 1980) re-divided five large lots at the end of the road into lots 57 to 69. The assessors date most of the houses to 1972 to 1976 and those on the 1980 lots to 1980 and 1981. The origin of the name was not found; the town's records also spell it "Windsor Road."

The Planning Board asked the town to accept Winsor Road at the annual meeting of 1976, but on May 13, 1976, when Wentworth Drive was accepted, the article for Winsor Road was dismissed, and it was dismissed again with the other Planning Board streets on April 24, 1980. Drainage work on 400 feet of the road was done in fiscal 2000, and catch basins were rebuilt in fiscal 2001. After a roadway survey by Lighthouse Land Surveying, LLC, dated September 4, 2019, the fall town meeting accepted Winsor Road "from Allen Road to dead end, approximate length 2,000' and 50' width right of way" as a public way under Article 39, with a dozen other private ways, at its second session on October 3, 2019, by an electronic vote of 165 to 5.
