Glen Arden Park is a neighborhood in North Billerica between Salem Road and the Boston and Maine Railroad, along the abandoned Middlesex Canal. The "Definitive Subdivision Plan of Glen Arden Park, Billerica, Mass.," owned by Frank T. Dignon of Salem Road and drawn by K. J. Miller Company, civil engineers and land surveyors, of Wilmington, is dated April 22, 1965. It was approved by the Planning Board on July 27, 1965 and recorded on August 4, 1965 in two sheets (Plan Book 102, Plans 66 and 67). It laid out Fillmore Drive, Dignon Road from Salem Road, and the western part of Charme Road from Brown Street, in about eighty lots, most of them 15,000 square feet, with a recreation area along the old canal. Lots on the north side of Fillmore Drive back onto the canal. The houses date from the mid-1960s.
