Bridle Acres is a neighborhood off Bridle Road in the River Pines section north of the Centre, laid out on land of James E. Farmer. Section 1 lay along Phyllis Drive off Bridle Road. The "Definitive Plan of Bridle Acres, Section 2, Billerica, Mass., owned by James E. Farmer," was drawn in April 1960 by Emmons and Fleming, Inc., registered land surveyors, of Billerica, approved by the Planning Board on June 9, 1960, and recorded on July 22, 1960 (Plan Book 93, Plan 60). Section 2 extended Janice Road and laid out Nolte Road, Baniulis Road, Kazimer Drive and Fern Circle, with about 65 lots of about 15,000 square feet; the Town of Billerica playground bounded it on the south and land of Anna Pomarnacki on the west.
Phyllis Drive, Diane Drive, Phillip Road, David Road and Eubar Circle were built about 1959 and 1960, and Baniulis Road, Kazimer Drive and Janice Road in 1962 and 1963.
