George R. Herrick
George R. Herrick, of Boston, bought the farm on Mill Brook in 1871 from Henry D. W. Angell, the farm of the Abner Stearns House on Dudley Road. The 1874 Massachusetts Register lists him at Billerica under grist mills and shingle mills. He married Rosine M., and the couple held the farm for forty years, selling five acres on Mill Brook to Ellen R. Pickman in 1902 and deeding the farm to their son Harry W. Herrick in 1911.
