Governors Park is a neighborhood in North Billerica off Andover Road, on streets named for Massachusetts governors. "Governors Park, a Definitive Subdivision Plan of Land, Billerica, Mass.," owned by J. E. Farmer, was drawn by George H. Poor, surveyor, of Mansfield, dated June 18, 1968, approved by the Planning Board on July 30, 1968 and recorded on September 12, 1968 in two sheets (Plan Book 107, Plan 88). It laid out lots of about 30,000 square feet on Governor Fuller Road, Governor Peabody Road, Governor Hutchinson Road and Governor Carver Road, between Andover Road and the New England Power Company line. Lots 39 through 64 on the south side of Peabody Road were registered land shown on Land Court Plan 32522-B. The neighboring Governor Saltonstall Road and Governor Endicott Road continue the governors' names. Most of the houses date from the late 1960s.
