Lloyd's Store
Lloyd's Store was the grocery and street-car waiting room at Harnden's Corner in Pinehurst, at the corner of Boston Road and Dale Street, kept by the Lloyd family on the lots Matilda Jane Lloyd bought in 1913. A postcard of about 1915 shows its sign, "Harnden's Corner / Groceries / Waiting Room / Moxie", with a gasoline pump at the curb and the street railway tracks across the road. The 1925 directory lists Archie V. Lloyd on Boston Road opposite River Road, and the 1932 directory lists Lloyd's Store on Boston Road. Archibald George Lloyd sold the store to Joseph and Mary L. Inferrera in 1952, and it became Inferrera's Market.
