Sumner Farms

Sumner Farms is a subdivision of house lots of about an acre on the north side of Nashua Road, east of the Simonds Farm streets, on an unused part of the property of Lantheus Medical Imaging. The town meeting of 2009 rezoned the land from Industrial to Rural Residence, and in 2014, after the company sold it to Bedford Woods LLC, to Neighborhood Residence for single-family houses on 1-acre lots. It was laid out on "Sumner Farms, Definitive Subdivision Plan, Fieldstone/Hemlock Lane," drawn by Dresser, Williams & Way, Inc., of 572 Boston Road (Francis J. McDonald, land surveyor), dated December 3, 2014 and revised to June 9, 2016, for Bedford Woods Development, LLC, of 204 Andover Road; it was endorsed on September 1, 2016 and recorded the next day (Plan Book 242, Plan 26). The first houses were built on Hemlock Lane in 2017 and on Fieldstone Lane from 2018; the two streets form a loop from Nashua Road.
