Vining School Principal

Principal of the Eugene C. Vining School, an 18-classroom elementary school in the Nuttings Lake area, named for longtime Superintendent Eugene C. Vining. It opened in 1957 with Helen E. Remick (later Schult) as principal. Because of structural problems the school closed in June 2019, when the district moved to a K-4 elementary configuration; its pupils went mainly to the Ditson School and the building was later demolished.
