Sleepy Hollow is a neighborhood in North Billerica off Allen Road. "Sleepy Hollow, A Subdivision of Land in Billerica, Mass.," owned by Content Homes, Inc. and drawn by Emmons, Fleming & Bienvenu, Inc., engineers and surveyors, of 220 Boston Road, Billerica, is dated February 1971. It was approved by the Planning Board on May 25, 1971 and recorded on June 25, 1971 in two sheets (Plan Book 112, Plan 127). It laid out Ichabod Lane, named for the schoolmaster in Washington Irving's tale, east from Allen Road, with stubs for Heidi Lane and Cheryl Lane, in lots of 40,000 to 86,000 square feet. A gas transmission line crosses the tract. Four lots on Allen Road, A through D, were left out of the subdivision. The houses date from the early 1970s.

Shea Estates is a four-lot subdivision on Allen Road in North Billerica, laid out on the "Definitive Subdivision Plan of Shea Estates, Aldie Lane," prepared for the owners, Leo and Eleanor Shea of 36 Allen Road, by Raymond Engineering Service of 574 Boston Road. The plan is dated March 12, 1993, was approved by the Planning Board on September 13, 1993 and recorded on September 21, 1993 (Plan Book 182, Plan 126). It divided the Shea land into four house lots of about 40,000 to 45,000 square feet, with Aldie Lane, forty feet wide, running from Allen Road to a looped turnaround. The house at the head of the lane was built in 1993; the other lots are numbered on Allen Road.
