Town position
Town Registrar
A member of Billerica's Board of Registrars of Voters, which keeps the voting list, registers voters, certifies nomination papers and conducts recounts. Massachusetts towns created these boards in 1884: three members appointed by the Selectmen for staggered three-year terms, with the Town Clerk serving as a fourth member ex officio and as clerk of the board. Town Clerks are listed under that position rather than here.
