Lewis Johnson
Lewis Johnson was a carpenter and builder at Billerica Centre. In 1868 he bought the old house on the south side of Andover Road east of the Town Common, now the Lewis Johnson House, and added a strip of land behind it from Judith Wilson in 1870. The 1874 Massachusetts Register lists him among the town's carpenters and builders. In 1877 he exchanged strips of land with his neighbor Gerrit H. Bennink. He died in 1895 and left his property to his widow, Susan M. Johnson, who sold the house in 1902.
